Funding Needs: Help Us Help Others

Recovery Community

“Today…is one year of sobriety for me…I’m so happy and grateful to all of my friends here for their help and support in getting my life back.”
Guideposts Recovery Community Participant

Helping Those Afflicted with Addiction

A father desperately wants to overcome his addiction for the sake of his family. His wife struggles to understand and know how to help.

A recent college graduate needs help breaking habits she barely realized she developed while in school.

A small business owner knows that recovery is the only way to keep the company he worked so hard to build.

It was a call for help and support that Guideposts had to meet – an increasing number of people affected by alcohol and drug addiction contacted us, asking for prayers and assistance.

Guideposts’ response is the new Sober24 program.  Already, over 100,000 visitors each month are helped through this active online community of people committed to sobriety.

  •  The Web site, http://www.sober24.com, offers resources for alcoholics, drug addicts and their families, including chat rooms, bulletin boards, and other resources.

  • Sober24 stands out from other online resources because it is an active community of people available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

One Sober24 participant tells us, “Sober24 is the arrow that keeps me pointing in the right direction.”
